The Cybersonrisas® Ecosystem brings together tools developed to support diagnostic formulation, treatment planning, orthodontic education, and clinical planning grounded in verifiable criteria.

Dr. Juan Contreras Arellano
Dental Surgeon and specialist in Orthodontics and Dentomaxillofacial Orthopedics, with more than twenty-five years of professional orthodontic practice in Chile.
His professional activity combines clinical practice, postgraduate teaching, scientific communication, and the development of digital resources applied primarily to orthodontics. He is a member of the Chilean Orthodontic Society, ALADO, WFO, AAO, SIDO, and BioMeDe.
Education and clinical orientation
Throughout his career, he has complemented his education in different philosophies and fixed appliance systems, including CCO, MBT, MEAW, SWLF, Damon, H4/Pitts 21, and Alexander; in intra- and extra-alveolar skeletal anchorage; in skeletal expansion; in aligner treatment; and, in particular, in orthodontic biomechanics.
Orthodontic biomechanics is the central axis of both his clinical practice and teaching activity. His education in this field has been influenced by international authorities such as Kwangchul Choy, Mani Alikhani, Mauricio Sakima, Angelo Loiola, Renato P. Martins, and André Drumond and, with particular significance, by his mentors Giorgio Fiorelli and Birte Melsen.
Teaching, scientific communication, and innovation
He works as a postgraduate educator and as a national and international lecturer. His academic activity is directed toward the rigorous communication of orthodontic biomechanics and the transformation of complex concepts into understandable, reproducible, and clinically applicable models.
His work in technology, computing, electronics, and artificial intelligence pursues a specific purpose: to create tools that facilitate clinical reasoning without replacing professional knowledge, experience, or responsibility.
Personal perspective
His interest in technology coexists with an enduring appreciation for classical education and systematic study. His personal activities include amateur radio —call sign CE5NK—, geocaching, and the study of wine. He considers himself a music lover and a frustrated pianist.
His working philosophy integrates science, creativity, and pedagogical clarity. His purpose is to research, experiment, and refine each resource until it becomes a useful tool for colleagues, students, and professionals in training.
Ecosystem identity
